Guy Matsuda Donburi – Celadon Interior, Unglazed Exterior

A beautifully balanced donburi bowl by Guy Matsuda, wheel-thrown from stoneware and wood fired. The exterior is left unglazed, showcasing soft flame blushes and fine chatter marks that invite the touch. Inside, a smooth celadon glaze pools into gentle greens, offering contrast and quiet depth. At 3.75” high with a 6” rim and 3” foot, it’s ideal for rice bowls, noodle dishes, or generous salads.

Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Guy Matsudaによるどんぶり鉢。ストーンウェアを轆轤成形し、外側は釉薬をかけずに薪窯で焼成。柔らかな炎の景色と繊細なチャターマークが表情を生み出しています。内側は青磁釉が施され、淡い緑が静かな奥行きを感じさせます。高さ約9.5cm、口径約15cm、底径約7.5cm。丼ものや麺料理、たっぷりのサラダにもぴったりのサイズです。
