Guy Matsuda Large Tumbler – 14 oz Ash-Glazed

This large tumbler by Guy Matsuda is wheel thrown from stoneware and wood and salt fired with a soft ash glaze. Speckled and streaked by flame and mineral, it’s both visually grounded and a pleasure to hold. At 4” tall and 3.75” in diameter, it holds 14 fluid ounces—ideal for water, iced tea, wine, or a generous pour of sake.

Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Guy Matsudaによる大ぶりのタンブラー。轆轤成形のストーンウェアを薪と塩で焼成し、灰釉がやわらかな流れと火の跡を美しく描いています。高さ約10cm、直径約9.5cm、容量約415ml。水、冷茶、ワイン、あるいはたっぷりの日本酒にもぴったりです。手になじむ、素朴で力強い一品。
