Guy Matsuda Round Vase - Shino Glaze

Round, warm, and quietly expressive—these wheel-thrown stoneware vases by Guy Matsuda feature a shino glaze with distinctive chatter mark textures and slip detailing. Wood and salt firing add variation and depth to the finish. Each stands approximately 7” tall and 5.5” in diameter.

We have two available. Each is unique, with natural differences in glaze and texture. If you have a preference, let us know at checkout and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

丸みのある柔らかなフォルムに、豊かな表情が宿るGuy Matsudaの花器。轆轤成形のストーンウェアにチャターマーク（削り跡）と化粧土が加えられ、志野釉が薪と塩の焼成によって美しく変化しています。高さ約18cm、直径約14cm。
