Guy Matsuda Shino Rice Bowl – Wood Fired

These warm, wood-fired rice bowls by Guy Matsuda are wheel-thrown from stoneware and glazed in classic shino. The surface shows subtle variations in color and depth, from soft peach to rusty orange, with a creamy white blush at the rim. At 3” high and 4.75” across the rim (2” foot), they’re perfect for gohan, soup, or small servings of anything savory or sweet.

Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Guy Matsudaによる志野釉のご飯茶碗。ストーンウェアを轆轤で成形し、薪窯で焼成。桃色から赤茶色への自然なグラデーションが広がり、縁にはやさしい白の発色が見られます。高さ約7.5cm、口径約12cm、底径約5cm。ご飯茶碗としてはもちろん、小鉢やデザートにもぴったりのサイズ感です。
