Shop Akemi Rice

Akemi Rice, originally from Iwate Prefecture, Japan, blends her childhood experiences in traditional Japanese crafts with a deep appreciation for sustainability and natural materials. Now based in Hadley, Massachusetts, her work spans basket weaving, ikkanbari, and pressed flower art, each piece reflecting her heritage and a desire to bring joy and connection to others.
