Rooted in the quiet landscape of Western Massachusetts and shaped by a reverence for natural materials, Kokoro Bensonoff’s work invites attention and care. Each piece—woven from foraged vine, carved from gourd, or layered with the memory of another life—embodies a tactile dialogue between beauty and use. Her approach resonates deeply with the sensibility that runs through all of Hashi: a devotion to the handmade, the humble, and the alive.
