Guy Matsuda Gas-Fired Pitcher

Guy Matsuda’s gas-fired stoneware pitcher has a gently rounded body, a small pouring lip, and a generously curved handle. A rich black teadust tenmoku glaze reveals subtle variations in charcoal, deep brown, and muted olive tones. The glossy upper surface catches the light, while fine speckling and softer, matte-looking areas give the lower body a quieter texture. Warm brown accents around the rim add another layer of contrast. A practical and distinctive pitcher for milk, cream, sauces, or small servings of beverages.

ガイ・マツダによるガス窯焼成の炻器製ピッチャー。ふっくらと丸みを帯びた胴、小さな注ぎ口、ゆったりとした曲線を描くハンドルが特徴です。深みのある黒いティーダスト天目釉には、炭色や濃い茶色、落ち着いたオリーブ色の微妙な変化が見られます。上部の光沢のある表面は光を美しく反射し、下部には細かな斑点やマットな質感が現れ、穏やかな表情を生み出しています。口縁のあたたかな茶色が全体にアクセントを添えています。ミルクやクリーム、ソース、少量の飲み物などを注ぐのに適した、実用的で個性豊かなピッチャーです。
