This medium oval fabric basket by Deb Luekens is handsewn from tightly coiled cotton roping, shaped slowly through careful, evenly spaced stitching. The elongated oval form introduces a gentle sense of movement, giving the basket a refined, sculptural presence while remaining soft and tactile.

The interior base is finished with vintage chirimen kimono fabric, adding color, pattern, and a subtle connection to Japanese textile traditions. Each basket is completed with a hand-made fabric button, also crafted by the artist, reinforcing the integrity and quiet thoughtfulness of the piece.

内側の底面には、色柄豊かなヴィンテージの縮緬（ちりめん）着物布が施され、日本のテキスタイルの伝統をさりげなく感じさせます。仕上げには作家自身が制作した布製ボタンが用いられ、細部まで一貫した丁寧な手仕事が貫かれています。
