Brandon Hale Robin's Egg Blue Katakuchi Pourer

$40.00

This small katakuchi pouring vessel by Brandon Hale has a rounded body, gently flared rim, and a neatly formed spout for controlled pouring. Wheel-thrown from wild clay and electric-fired, it features a soft robin's egg blue glaze with fine crackling and subtle variations in color. Small patches of exposed clay near the base provide a warm contrast to the blue surface.

Traditionally used in Japan for pouring liquids, the katakuchi is a versatile form, equally suited to serving sake, sauces, or dressings. Its compact proportions also make it an appealing little vase for a few flowers.

Wheel-thrown wild clay; robin's egg blue glaze; electric-fired.

Dimensions: 3" H × 3" D.

Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

Brandon Hale
