With its generous depth and broad sweep of color, this serving bowl by Juli Kirk is both grounded and expansive. Pools of green, gold, and slate flow across the surface, bordered by lively wax resist markings that suggest a secret script. The underside features a rich medallion of unglazed clay surrounded by brushstrokes that echo the bowl’s energy. Crafted with terra sigillata and layered glazes, then fired in an electric kiln for strength and everyday use. Safe for food, microwave, and dishwasher.
