Andy Vlock Carved Kobachi Bowl

These two carved kobachi bowls by Andy Vlock are intimate studies in contrast and texture. Thrown from red clay, coated in porcelain slip, and finished with an ash glaze, each bowl was wood-fired, giving rise to unique shifts in color and surface character. The carved lines echo movement and light, enhancing their sculptural presence.

Measuring approximately 2 inches high, 5 inches in diameter at the rim, and 2 inches at the base, these bowls are ideal for small dishes, sides, sweets, or simply as quiet visual accents on the table.

Andy Vlockによるこの二つの小鉢は、質感とコントラストの美を映し出す彫刻的なうつわです。赤土で成形され、白化粧を施し、灰釉で仕上げた後、薪窯で焼成されることで、それぞれに異なる色合いや表情が生まれました。刻まれたラインが光と動きを映し出し、静かな存在感を引き立てます。

高さ約5cm、口径約13cm、底部約5cmのサイズで、小皿料理、和え物、甘味などに最適。食卓に静かな彩りを添える器です。
