This extraordinary vessel by Andy Vlock is a true masterwork of form and fire. Though wheel-thrown, the piece has been intentionally altered—folded, pinched, and shaped by hand—resulting in an elegant yet organic silhouette. Crafted from red clay, layered with porcelain slip, and finished with an ash glaze, this piece was wood-fired, allowing the flame to leave its distinctive mark.
