This generous serving bowl by Guy Matsuda radiates warmth. Thrown from BMix stoneware with Helmers kaolin and fired in a wood and salt kiln, it carries the energy of flame and gesture. A soft shino glaze reveals warm blushes of peach and rust, while bold, fluid marks sweep across the interior—at once calligraphic and intuitive. The form is open and inviting, equally suited for everyday meals or special gatherings.

This piece is food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Handwashing is recommended to preserve the character of the surface over time.
