Ayumi Nojiri Tea Cup - Gray

A handbuilt tea cup by Ayumi Nojiri, offered in three variations: a flat, grounded form; a taller, footed cup with a gentle lift; and a wider, footed cup with a more open presence. Each carries a slightly different rhythm in the hand—the flat cup steady and direct, the tall cup upright and quiet, the wide cup soft and embracing.

The surface is finished in a matte white glaze layered with soft gray tones, flowing subtly across the form. The glaze gathers and breaks along the rim and body, creating a quiet, atmospheric texture reminiscent of mist over stone or shifting light on a cloudy day.

The rim is softly uneven, shaped by hand, bringing a natural cadence to each sip.

Suitable for tea, sake, or small pours, these cups invite a slower, more attentive pace.

Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

手びねりで作られたAyumi Nojiriの湯のみ。フラットな底のタイプ、高台のある背の高いタイプ、そして広がりのある高台付きのタイプ、3つのかたちがあります。フラットタイプは安定感があり、背の高いタイプは静かに立ち上がる印象、広いタイプはやわらかく包み込むような佇まいです。

マットな白釉にグレーの層が重なり、表面にはやわらかな流れとにじみが現れます。霧が石や空気の中に溶け込むような、静かで奥行きのある景色を思わせます。

わずかに揺らぐ口縁が、口当たりに自然なやさしさをもたらします。
