These hand-thrown mugs by Ayumi Nojiri bring warmth and quiet beauty to everyday rituals. Wheel-thrown from stoneware clay and electric-fired, each mug carries subtle variations in form and surface that reflect the intimacy of small-batch making. The proportions are compact yet generous, with a softly curved body and a comfortable handle that sits naturally in the hand.

Choose from two finishes:

Macademia: A warm, earthy glaze with soft brown and nutty tones, gently breaking through the surface. The finish has a dry, natural feel, with subtle depth and variation that recalls toasted grains, soil, and autumn light.

Rain: A cool, misty glaze in pale gray-blue tones, with a softly mottled surface that suggests falling rain or fog lifting from stone. Calm and restrained, the glaze pools gently along the rim and handle, enhancing the mug’s quiet presence.

Each mug measures approximately 2.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. Capacity is ideal for tea, espresso, or a small cup of coffee.
