Guy Matsuda Porcelain Shallow Serving Bowl – Celadon, Wax Resist, Tea Dust
Couldn't load pickup availability
Wheel-thrown in porcelain by Guy Matsuda, this shallow serving bowl is gas-fired in celadon with a wax-resist band and a delicate overlay of black tea-dust glaze. The open, low form offers a beautiful canvas for the celadon’s cool green clarity, while the tea dust introduces subtle dark speckling that deepens the surface. The wax-resist band adds a quiet rhythm at the lip, revealing the clay body beneath and tying the composition together.
A versatile serving piece—ideal for salads, vegetables, noodles, fruit, or shared dishes—elegant enough for the center of the table and sturdy enough for everyday use.
