Guy Matsuda Stoneware Serving Bowl – Shino, Wax Resist, Double-Fired
Couldn't load pickup availability
Wheel-thrown in stoneware by Guy Matsuda, this serving bowl is glazed in Shino with wax-resist markings and shaped by two firings—first in a wood kiln, then refired in gas. The wood firing leaves soft flashing, ember shadows, and warm tonal shifts, while the gas refiring clarifies the surface and draws out subtle variations of white, peach, and smoke. Wax-resist patterns reveal the clay underneath, giving the exterior a quiet movement that feels both intentional and organic.
A generous, versatile serving piece for salads, noodles, roasted vegetables, or shared dishes—earthy, expressive, and beautifully balanced.

サラダ、麺類、焼き野菜、取り分け料理などに幅広く使えて、落ち着いた存在感を食卓に添える一品です。
