Ayumi Nojiri Tea Cup - Cream

A handbuilt tea cup by Ayumi Nojiri, with a softly faceted form that gently shifts in the light. The walls rise with a subtle irregularity, and the rim moves slightly, giving the piece a quiet liveliness.

The surface combines a warm, speckled clay body with a glossy cream-white glaze that flows in soft panels across the form. Where the glaze gathers, it becomes luminous and smooth; where it thins, the clay’s natural warmth comes through, creating a gentle interplay between matte and gloss.

The interior is fully glazed, offering a clean, reflective surface that brightens tea and enhances its color.

Well suited for tea or small pours, with a light, open presence that feels both simple and quietly refined.

Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

手びねりで作られたAyumi Nojiriの湯のみ。やわらかく面が移ろうような形で、光の中でさりげなく表情が変わります。わずかに揺らぐ口縁が、自然な動きを感じさせます。

温かみのある土の表情に、やさしい艶のあるクリーム色の釉薬が流れるように重なります。釉薬が溜まる部分はなめらかに光を受け、薄くなる部分では土の質感がほんのりと現れ、マットと艶の対比が静かに生まれています。

内側はしっかりと釉がかかり、お茶の色を明るく引き立てます。
