Josh Kopin Kobachi Bowl – Wood Ash and Black Dolomite Glaze

Wheel-thrown kobachi bowl by Josh Kopin, made from dark stoneware and fired in a gas kiln. A soft, atmospheric wood ash glaze forms the base surface, while black dolomite glaze is brushed by hand, creating subtle contrast and movement across each bowl. The interaction between ash and brushwork gives every piece its own quiet variation.

The form is compact and balanced, well suited for small servings, condiments, rice, pickles, sauces, or seasonal side dishes. Available in three sizes, each thrown individually and glazed by hand.

Josh Kopinによる轆轤成形の小鉢です。濃い色味の陶土を用い、ガス窯で焼成。木灰釉が柔らかな地の表情をつくり、その上に黒ドロマイト釉を刷毛で施すことで、静かな動きと奥行きのある景色が生まれています。一点一点、釉薬の重なりや流れに個体差があります。

副菜や香の物、薬味、ソース、ご飯など、日常の食卓に使いやすいサイズ感。3つのサイズ展開で、それぞれ手仕事ならではの微妙な違いを楽しめます。
