Hand built by Andy Vlock from tan clay and finished with a cobalt black glaze marked by wax resist, this wood-fired tea bowl embodies a dialogue between gesture and fire. The wax resist leaves pale traces of touch amid dark, flowing glaze, while the wood kiln adds depth and variation to every surface. A bold yet meditative vessel for tea or quiet reflection.

淡い土で手づくりし、コバルト黒釉とロウ抜き模様を施して薪窯で焼成したアンディ・ヴロックの茶碗。ロウの跡がやわらかな光を残し、黒釉の流れの中に手の動きを感じます。薪窯の炎が表情を深め、一つとして同じもののない仕上がりに。お茶の時間にも、静かな観賞にもふさわしい器です。
