無釉の表面には、薪窯の炎や灰の作用がそのまま現れています。細やかな灰の付着や自然な色の変化により、温かみのある砂色からやわらかなベージュ、淡い生成りへと移ろう穏やかな景色が広がります。細かな斑点は焼成中の灰と熱の動きを物語り、首の部分にはろくろの跡がわずかに残り、制作のリズムを感じさせます。

さらりとした手触りの中に、素材そのものの質感が生きており、使い込むことでさらに表情が深まっていきます。

内側には釉薬が施されており、水を入れて花を活けることができます。まっすぐな首は、一輪挿しやすっきりとした縦の構成に適しており、静かに整った印象をもたらします。
