Small bowl by Brandon Hale, wheel thrown in stoneware and finished with black slip and ash in an electric firing. The form opens gently from a compact foot into softly angled walls, creating a bowl that feels light in the hand while remaining visually grounded.

The exterior surface carries a deep charcoal tone with subtle variations from the slip and ash. Inside, the bowl reveals a dramatic field of blue-black and silvery tones where ash has gathered during firing, creating a landscape-like pattern across the interior surface. These natural firing effects give each bowl a unique sense of depth and movement.

Well suited for small servings, the bowl works beautifully for rice, yogurt, fruit, sauces, or desserts. Its modest scale and rich surface make it equally comfortable in everyday use or as part of a carefully composed table.

外側は深いチャコール色で、スリップと灰による微妙な色調の変化が見られます。内側には灰の作用による青みを帯びた黒や銀色のニュアンスが現れ、風景のような表情をつくり出しています。こうした焼成による自然な表情が、一つひとつの器に個性を与えています。
