Andy Vlock Wood-Fired Handbuilt Pitcher

Handbuilt by Andy Vlock, this pitcher brings together dark red clay, porcelain slip, and layers of wood ash and iron oxide that settle gently along the rim. Wood firing leaves a soft tapestry of blush, shadow, and ash deposits—each mark a record of flame and atmosphere. Balanced and expressive, it pours smoothly and stands beautifully on its own as a sculptural object.

アンディ・ヴロックによる手びねりのピッチャー。赤土にポーセリン化粧土を施し、木灰や酸化鉄が縁にやわらかく溜まっています。薪窯焼成によって炎と灰が生み出す火色や陰影が表面に刻まれ、自然のままの景色として宿ります。注ぎやすく、器としてもオブジェとしても存在感を放つ一品です。
