Brandon Hale Wild Clay Pourer

Thrown by Brandon Hale from wild clay and coated with a thin white slip, this unglazed wood and soda–fired pourer reveals the elemental character of clay and flame. The slip softens to pale blush and ash-gray where soda vapor has touched, creating a natural patina that feels both ancient and alive. Balanced in the hand, it pours gracefully for sake, sauces, or small tea rituals.

ブランダン・ヘイルによる野生の土で成形し、白化粧を施して釉薬を掛けずに薪とソーダの窯で焼成した片口。ソーダの蒸気が触れた部分では化粧土が淡い紅や灰色に変化し、自然な風合いが生まれます。土と炎の素朴な美しさをそのまま残し、手に馴染む穏やかな形。お酒やソース、茶の湯の小さな所作にも。
