Andy Vlock Nerikomi Wood-Fired Bud Vase

Hand built by Andy Vlock using layers of white and red clay in a Nerikomi technique, this wood-fired bud vase reveals the quiet poetry of pattern born from process. Brushed with iron wash and marked by the kiln’s breath, each line and hue feels both deliberate and accidental. A small, contemplative piece—perfect for a single stem or simply to rest as is.

白土と赤土を重ね合わせて練り込み技法で手づくりし、鉄化粧を施して薪窯で焼成したアンディ・ヴロックの一輪挿し。意図と偶然が交わる模様に、炎の痕が静かに加わります。一輪の花を挿しても、そのまま置いても美しい、瞑想的な小さな作品。
