Andy Vlock Wild Clay Square Plate

This square plate by Andy Vlock is made from wild stoneware clay and finished with a soft ash glaze, then electric fired. The gently curved edges lift slightly at the corners, giving the form a quiet presence while remaining practical for everyday use.

The ash glaze settles into subtle variations—creamy white with fine speckling and natural warmth from the firing. The surface reveals the character of the clay beneath, with faint textures and tonal shifts that make each plate uniquely expressive. At approximately 6 inches across, it is ideal for small servings, sweets, side dishes, or as a composed presentation plate.
