Ayumi Nojiri Matcha Bowl – Matte White & Gray

A handbuilt matcha bowl by Ayumi Nojiri, with a quiet, grounded presence. The form is slightly irregular, its rim gently wavering, giving the piece a softness that feels both deliberate and unforced.

The surface carries layered movement in muted tones—matte white merging with soft gray in vertical, almost atmospheric flows. The glaze settles unevenly, creating a sense of depth and weathered calm, like fog lifting from stone or distant hills.

The interior deepens into a darker gray, offering a subtle contrast that frames the vivid green of matcha beautifully.

Well suited for matcha, tea, or small servings, and equally at home as a contemplative object in a space.

マットな白とグレーの釉薬が重なり合い、縦に流れるような表情を見せます。霧が石や遠くの山並みにかかるような、静かで奥行きのある景色を思わせます。
