Guy Matsuda Porcelain Bud Vase – Wood-Fired

These elegant bud vases by Guy Matsuda are wheel-thrown from porcelain and wood and salt fired with a pale spodumene glaze. Each features a gently flared neck and rounded body, with subtle variations in surface—one more matte, the other softly glazed with vertical runs. Both stand approximately 6” tall and 5” wide.

Guy Matsudaによる、優美なシルエットの磁器製一輪挿し。轆轤成形された磁土を薪と塩で焼成し、淡いスポジュメン釉が施されています。ひとつはマットな仕上がり、もうひとつは縦に流れる釉薬が柔らかな表情を生み出しています。高さ約15cm、直径約13cm。
