Guy Matsuda Porcelain Serving Bowl – Celadon, Wax Resist, Tea Dust
Couldn't load pickup availability
Wheel-thrown in porcelain by Guy Matsuda, this large serving bowl is gas-fired in celadon with a wax-resist band and a soft layer of black tea-dust glaze. The celadon settles into a clear, luminous green over the porcelain body, while the tea dust adds fine, dark speckling that deepens the surface. The wax-resist pattern creates a quiet rhythm along the rim, revealing the clay beneath and emphasizing the bowl’s generous, open form.
Ideal for shared dishes at the table—salads, stir-fries, noodles, or fruit—this is a piece that brings presence without heaviness.
