Juli Kirk Coffee Mug

A coffee mug by Juli Kirk, wheel thrown and altered by hand, with a softly squared form and a generous, comfortable handle. The surface is built in layers—terra sigillata, wax resist, and glaze—creating a field of quiet variation and movement.

A pale greenish glaze settles over the form with a fine, speckled texture, breaking to reveal the warm clay body beneath in gestural, almost calligraphic marks. The result feels both considered and immediate, as if the surface were discovered in the making.

Well-sized for coffee or tea, with a steady presence in the hand and a rim that meets the lip easily.

Stoneware, electric fired.

Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.
