Juli Kirk Dinner Plate

A dinner plate by Juli Kirk, wheel thrown and altered by hand, with a softly irregular rim that retains the energy of its making. The surface is built in quiet layers—terra sigillata, oxide, and clay pencil—creating a pale, atmospheric ground.

At the center, a warm circular form in ancient jasper anchors the composition, held within faint linear geometry that feels both drawn and discovered. Subtle marks and shifts in tone move across the plate like a record of time and touch, inviting the eye to wander.

Generous in scale, it functions beautifully as a dinner plate while also carrying the presence of a painterly surface—equally at home in use or on display.

Stoneware, double electric fired.

Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

ジュリ・カークによるディナープレート。ろくろ成形をベースに手仕事で整えられた縁には、制作の動きがそのまま残されています。テラ・シジラータ、酸化物、クレイペンシルによる層が、やわらかな白の中に静かな奥行きを生み出しています。

中央にはアンシェントジャスパーによる温かみのある円が配され、淡い幾何学的な線に包まれるように現れます。時間や手の痕跡を思わせる細やかな変化が、見るたびに新しい表情を見せてくれます。

食器としてはもちろん、飾り皿としても魅力的な一枚です。
