Andy Vlock Wood-Fired Unglazed Serving Bowl

Hand built by Andy Vlock from red clay and left unglazed, this large wood-fired serving bowl embodies the direct meeting of earth and flame. The surface bears the kiln’s raw imprint—flashes of ash, blushes of carbon, the subtle sheen of vitrified clay. Both rugged and refined, it brings a quiet natural presence to the table. Beautiful for serving vegetables, noodles, or fruit.

赤土で手づくりし、釉薬をかけずに薪窯で焼成したアンディ・ヴロックの大鉢。土と炎がそのまま出会い、灰の跡や炭化の紅、焼き締めによるわずかな光沢が表れます。素朴でありながら品格を感じさせる存在。野菜や麺、果物を盛るのに最適です。
