Bowls

Bowls sit at the heart of daily use. From small dishes for sauce or fruit to medium bowls for rice or soup, and larger serving bowls for shared meals, each form is shaped with attention to weight, balance, and how it feels in the hand.

Japanese traditions often favor variation over matching sets. Scale matters — a small bowl can hold pickles, olives, or berries; a medium bowl might serve rice, noodles, or yogurt; a larger bowl may anchor the center of the table.

If you’d like to browse by size, you can explore our Small Bowls, Medium Bowls, and Serving Bowls collections.

All of our bowls are fired to temperatures that vitrify the clay, making them durable and appropriate for everyday use.
