Ayumi Nojiri Small Tea Bowl

Handbuilt by Ayumi Nojiri, this small tea bowl has an open, flower-like form with a gently undulating rim and softly textured surface. The matte white glaze gives way to a pooled rain glaze at the center, where pale blues and soft earthy tones gather in fluid, atmospheric patterns. The interior surface carries subtle dimpling and movement, emphasizing the immediacy of the hand and the spontaneity of the glaze.

Though well-suited for tea, the bowl also lends itself beautifully to small servings, sweets, or quiet moments of use and attention.

Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

手びねりで制作されたこの小さな茶碗は、花がひらくような広がりのある形と、ゆるやかに波打つ縁が印象的です。マットな白釉の中心には“雨”を思わせる釉薬が溜まり、淡いブルーや土味のある色合いが自然な流れの中に現れています。内側にはほのかな凹凸や動きがあり、手仕事の即興性と釉薬の表情をより豊かに感じさせます。

お茶の器としてはもちろん、小鉢や菓子鉢としても美しくお使いいただけます。
