Andy Vlock Gas-Fired Drinking Cup — Wood Ash and Black Dolomite Glaze

This drinking cup by Andy Vlock is wheel-thrown from stoneware and gas fired in reduction, finished with a layered surface of wood ash and black dolomite glaze. The interaction between glaze, ash, and flame creates rich variation across the surface, with areas of warm brown, charcoal, and soft, mottled highlights.
