Hashi is moving after nearly two years on Cottage Street in Easthampton, where we were graciously hosted by Sonnet & Sparrow. But we aren't going far—just across the pond! We're honored to accept an invitation to share space with Moonlit Sea Prints in Suite 226 of the Eastworks Building at 116 Pleasant Street in Easthampton. Moonlit Sea Prints is a world-renowned gallery specializing in original Japanese woodblock prints, including ukiyo-e, shin-hanga, and sosaku-hanga. Like Hashi, Moonlit Sea features unique Japanese artworks that touch the soul and imagination, invite awareness, and foster joy in daily life. In addition to this shared passion for bridging Japan and the United States, we're excited to be able to participate more fully in the vibrant artistic and commercial activity of Eastworks and the Easthampton Mills and to be open more days and for longer hours.
In fact, we'll be collaborating with Moonlit Sea, 50 Arrow Gallery, Amanda Barrow, The Invisible Fountain, Alchemy Fiber Mill, and Tip Top Wineshop for a very special Easthampton ArtWalk Event on Saturday, February 1st. Attendees can enjoy a perfect pairing of visual and culinary artistry as they explore the building’s creative spaces. Plus, on a cold winter day, the cozy atmosphere of Eastworks will offer a warm and inviting escape, making it the perfect spot to immerse yourself in art and culture. Each gallery will offer a curated wine selection from Tip Top Wine Shop, enhancing the journey of the event as you navigate the Eastworks building. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with art and artists and savor wines that complement the atmosphere of each exhibit. Moreover, at 50 Arrow Gallery and Moonlit Sea, we'll supply one-of-a-kind, handcrafted ceramic yunomi (drinking cups) and guinomi (sake cups) that guests may use to sample Tip Top Wineshop's selection.
