Andy Vlock Nerikomi Incense Holder with Dolomite Glaze

This incense holder by Andy Vlock is made using nerikomi techniques, combining marbled clays that create a quietly dynamic pattern through the body of the piece. A dolomite glaze softens the surface while allowing the layered clays to remain visible, and the gas firing adds subtle warmth and variation. Gently lifted at both ends, the form feels poised and intentional, elevating the incense stick slightly while catching ash cleanly. A calm, sculptural object well suited to daily ritual or contemplative spaces.
