This small bowl by Andy Vlock is made from porcelain and gas-fired with a Hagi-style glaze formulated with corn ash sourced from Hadley, Massachusetts. The glaze has a soft, milky presence with gentle tonal shifts and natural markings that reflect both the firing and the local materials used. The form feels intimate and grounded, inviting touch and daily use. Well suited for condiments, fruit, or sweets, it would also make a beautiful small matcha or tea bowl.
