Andy Vlock Ridged Yunomi - Sage

These hand-built tea cups by Andy Vlock invite both the eye and the hand. Formed from sage-toned marbled clays, each cup is wrapped with a softly faceted ridge that lends the vessel a quiet sense of movement. A thick ash glaze settles across the surface with subtle variation, while the gas firing reveals delicate olive, cream, and amber tones that make every cup unique.

淡いセージ色のマーブル土を用いて手づくりされた、アンディ・ヴロックによるティーカップです。器を一周するやわらかな稜線が静かな動きを生み出し、手に自然となじみます。厚く掛けられた灰釉は、ガス焼成によってオリーブやクリーム、琥珀色が織りなす繊細な景色となり、一点ごとに異なる表情を見せます。
