Ayumi Nojiri Kintsugi Bud Vase

This hand-built bud vase by Ayumi Nojiri embodies the quiet resilience of kintsugi. After the piece cracked in the making, Ayumi repaired it herself using the Japanese art of mending with gold, transforming the vessel into a celebration of continuity rather than perfection. The graceful golden line becomes part of the vase's history, honoring both the accident and the care that followed.

Its softly rounded form carries a satisfying weight in the hand, giving the vase a grounded, sculptural presence despite its modest scale.
