Brandon Hale Robin's Egg Katakuchi Pourer

This small katakuchi-style pourer by Brandon Hale is wheel thrown in white stoneware and finished with his robin’s egg glaze. The rounded body rises to a broad open rim, interrupted by a single pinched spout that gives the otherwise compact, symmetrical form its direction.

The glaze shifts across the curved surface from pale blue-green to deeper blue, with a lighter band around the rim emphasizing the vessel’s generous opening. At just 2.5 inches high, it has the scale of an intimate serving piece—suited to sauces, dressings, or other small pours—and is equally appealing simply as a small vessel.
