Brandon Hale Robin's Egg Small Plate - Round

This small round plate by Brandon Hale is made from white stoneware and finished with his robin’s egg glaze. A narrow strip of bare clay runs across the surface, interrupting the glaze with a simple linear gesture and giving the plate a subtly graphic quality.

The contrast between the pale glaze and exposed white stoneware brings added definition to the otherwise quiet, circular form. Its compact size makes it useful for sweets, condiments, a small side serving, or other everyday uses.

The plate is electric fired.
